The night manager - Una novela de Le Carré se convierte en serie de la BBC

No es muy habitual que los escritores reciban sin cierta reticencia los cambios que los guionistas realizan en sus novelas para llevarlas a la pantalla.

En este caso, John Le Carré se felicita de que esta actualización haya transformado algunos de sus personajes (el señor Burr se ha convertido en la señora Burr)  y no solamente se muestra conforme con que podamos asistir a una apasionante historia sobre el comercio de armas, los servicios de inteligencia y los avatares de la política sino que aparece incluso en alguna escena.
La serie que acaba de estrenar la BBC1 tiene como protagonista a Hugh Laurie (el misántropo genio Dr House)como el villano al que describen como la peor persona del mundo  y unas variadas localizaciones que van desde El Cairo a Suiza, el Caribe, Canadá, Cornualles,..
