The bridge: dos mundos y una frontera.

Aunque la idea no sea original ya que sigue el modelo de otra serie sueco-danesa, la localización de esta frontera no podía ser mejor para ilustrar dos mundos tan cercanos físicamente y tan diferentes. Dos ciudades, El Paso y Ciudad Juarez.
Esto permite acercarnos a la realidad de la inmigración, el tráfico de drogas y de armas,  la corrupción policial, los feminicidios sin resolver ...
El director de la serie es el mejicano Gerardo Naranjo.
La trama empieza con el hallazgo en el Puente de las Américas, que separa USA y Méjico,  del cuerpo de una mujer seccionado de forma que enseguida se produce un conflicto de competencias entre los responsables de la policia de ambos países que se resuelve con la creación de un equipo de investigación "mixto"
Sonya Cross es una joven policía norteamericana que sufre un trastorno leve de Aspergen que le dificulta las relaciones sociales y le hace interpretar las normas de forma rígida e impersonal.
Su nuevo compañero, el policia mejicano Marco Ruiz tiene una personalidad mucho más abierta y una interpretación de la legalidad bastante flexible.
Juntos emprenderán la búsqueda y tendrán que adaptarse a formas de trabajar que no comparten ni entienden y se enfrentarán a un peligroso "serial killer".
