Superman on ice - Javier Fernández se queda con nosotros

http://www.rtve.es/alacarta/videos/patinaje-sobre-hielo/javier-fernandez/1725047/

Mucha suerte, Javi

¿Añadimos o quitamos ? Restar como necesidad The Necessary Art of Substraction by Leo Batauta

The Necessary Art of Subtraction

By Leo Babauta
The tendency of our lives, businesses, art, is to keep adding: more furniture, clothes, gadgets, tasks, appointments, features to websites and apps, words to our writing.
Continual addition isn’t sustainable or desirable:
  • Too many things to do means we’re always busy, with no time for rest, stillness, contemplation, creativity, time with loved ones.
  • Overwhelming customers with choices means they’re less likely to make an actual choice. They’d prefer that we curate the best.
  • Too many possessions is clutter, visual stress, cleaning, maintenance, debt, less happiness.
  • Too many tasks makes it harder to focus on any one thing or get anything done.
  • Too many things we want to learn means we never learn anything well.
Subtraction is beautiful: it creates space, time, clarity.
Subtraction is necessary: otherwise we are overburdened.
Subtraction can be painful: it means letting go of a child.
Subtraction is an art that improves with practice. Subtraction can be practiced on your schedule, task list, commitments list, possessions, reading list, writing, product line, distractions.
What can you subtract right now?

How can it be permissible
She compromise my principle, yeah yeah
That kind of love is mythical
She's anything but typical

She's a craze you'd endorse, she's a powerful force
You're obliged to conform when there's no other course
She used to look good to me, but now I find her
Simply irresistible
Simply irresistible

Her loving is so powerful, huh
It's simply unavoidable
The trend is irreversible
The woman is invincible

She's a natural law, and she leaves me in awe
She deserves the applause, I surrender because
She used to look good to me, but now I find her
Simply irresistible
Simply irresistible

Simply irresistible she's so fine, there's no tellin' where the money went
Simply irresistible she's all mine, there's no other way to go
She's unavoidable, I'm backed against the wall
She gives me feelings like I never felt before
I'm breaking promises, she's breaking every law
She used to look good to me, but now I find her
Simply irresistible

She's so fine, there's no tellin' where the money went
Simply irresistible she's all mine, there's no other way to
Go

Her methods are inscrutable
The proof is irrefutable,
She's so completely kissable, huh
Our lives are indivisible

She's a craze you'd endorse, she's a powerful force
You're obliged to conform when there's no other course
She used to look good to me, but now I find her
Simply irresistible
Simply irresistible

She's so fine, there's no tellin' where the money went
Simply irresistible she's all mine, there's no other way to go
She's so fine, there's no tellin' where the money went
Simply irresistible she's all mine, there's no other way to go
Simply irresistible

Estar presente - La montaña zen de Leo Babauta - Leaving it all behind

“What day is it?”
“It’s today,” squeaked Piglet.
“My favorite day,” said Pooh.

How to Leave It All Behind

So how do we leave everything behind, so that we can find peace?
It’s not easy. It’s practice, then more practice. But it’s worthwhile practice.
Here’s what I’ve been doing:
When I arrive in a new place, or talk to someone, or start something new … I pause.
Then I take a brief moment to journey through the mountain road, leaving behind the rest of my life. I let go, by loosening my grip, by relaxing instead of grasping. I see it fall behind.
I then arrive in the new place. I look around, smile, enjoy. I inhabit the new place. I give thanks for being here.
Then I put my attention on this new place. This new person. This new activity.
When I notice my attention wander, I return.
I let go of the need to check, to constantly be busy with something else, to know what’s going on or to do everything.
I am just here.
